Before you send
Questions worth settling early.
Can I send an untidy spreadsheet?
Yes. Keep the original asset references and mark unclear fields as unknown. A consistent reference is more useful than a polished catalogue: it lets a photograph, an accessory and a condition note be matched to the same item.
What if only part of a system is available?
Describe the offered parts individually and identify what is missing or retained. Do not label a collection of modules a complete system unless you have established what belongs to it.
Should every item have an asking price?
You can include a price expectation if you have one, but it is not needed to describe the equipment. Model, scope, condition and availability are the useful starting facts.
